Head of Harmony D Studio, Animation Supervisor,
Rigger
Marina graduated from MGIMO with honors in
International Relations and went on to work at
the Russian Academy of Sciences for more than
eight years. Then she made a bold decision to
leave that career behind to follow her passion
for animation and never looked back.
Today she specializes in 2.5D animation using
the Toon Boom Harmony program, which she
considers a universal tool: almost anything can
be done in it. Marina works with leading studios
such as Soyuzmultfilm, Melnitsa, Toonbox, and
Dikidigital.

Amid deadlines, calls, and caring for the baby, Marina is also preparing to launch the Russian branch of Women in Animation – a community where women can grow professionally, support one another, and unlock their potential.
Beyond production, she is developing her own animated series and preparing new projects for pitching. And above all, she simply loves cartoons!

Оne of the country’s leading animation studios, Eduard writes scripts for the new series of Prostokvashino and Nu, Pogodi! ( Well, Just You Wait!). He also participates in writers’ rooms and internal pitch sessions, where hundreds of ideas are shaped, tested, and the strongest are selected.
At Harmony D Studio, Eduard leads the script group and oversees the development of new projects. He writes stories full of emotion, spark and humor — so vivid that they begin to come to life on the page. Animators pick up this energy, turning it into the invisible engine that drives the entire creative process.
As a teacher, Eduard encourages students to break free from cliches and patterns, guiding them to create scripts that touch, surprise and truly live. After all, a powerful story is the foundation of a great cartoon!

"I’ve always loved animation. I may be the only grown-up who watched over 400 episodes of a kids’ show “Moonzy and his friends,” before ever becoming
a mom!"

“There is nothing more magical than the moment when the lines of a script suddenly come to life. As if someone had read your thoughts and made them even better!”
